On Thursday 26th April I visited pet grooming salon Dressed to the Canines.
I met with owner Victoria Taylor who opened her Salon, Cat Hotel and Boutique stocking RAW pet food & accessories only two months ago in San Antonio.
Upon entering the shop I was greeted by a very friendly pooch named Coco, a clients Westie who looked extremely happy to welcome me.

I was secondly greeted by the lovely Victoria who had a good old chat with me about all things four leg related.
Victoria completed training as a dog groomer in Essex in 2014 after a life long passion of taking care of animals, which stemmed from growing up with a variety of animals including horses and dogs with her mother who now has her own off leash dog enclosure and training facilities back home in Essex. She also embarked (no pun intended) on mobile pet grooming after returning to Melbourne, Australia later in 2014.
Having previously worked on Ibiza in 2008 and 2010 within the music industry, she returned last year and set up Dressed to the Canines, a cheeky play on words which suits the business very well. A total 360 from her usual work on the Island, but her love of animals was far too strong not to make a career from it, and she's done extremely well for a new business owner!

The shop is nicely laid out with various shelving stocking only high quality produce including species appropriate RAW barf food, perfect for those who really care about their beloved pets nutritional diet. The large table in the centre of the floor holds host to snazzy harnesses, leads and collars from Ibiza based sellers and unique designers from London. They're pretty cool, I'm sure any dog would feel like a celebrity walking around with of those!

Victoria is the only business on Ibiza to stock 'PuroMenu', a highly nutritional RAW blended brand of pet food containing meat, coconut flakes, kelp, fish, tripe, fruit and veg. She told me that animals need fruit and veg for a balanced, healthy diet as when their ancestors would of eaten their prey they would of also devoured the stomach which would of contained some form or vegetation which I for one didn't even know, and I'm a dog lover and owner!

The businesses one-to-one dog sitting service is specifically designed to ensure your beloved furry friends receive the sitters undivided attention at all times. They match the best person to suit your pet which makes for a very enjoyable, yet also relaxed experience for your fluffy companion. While the cattery is an open planned area inclusive of cat castle, climbing frame and ample space for cats to enjoy their home away from home while you enjoy your holiday.
Victoria has done exceptionally well already and is highly ambitious, she would like to open more shops in the future as well as host more training events and charity family fun days. I personally think she will succeed at this as her dedication and passion for her work really shines through whilst talking to her.,

Dressed to the Canines is a very community focused business. In December Victoria held a Dog Show in Santa Eulalia which offered fun for all the family in aid of Can Hog and ARC. From 'best rescue' to 'waggiest tail' competitions, a perfect idea for an Island full of animal lovers. She also collaborates with a number of Ibiza based animal companies from 'Club Agility Illa Blanca' to 'Hot Dogs Ibiza' which stands for hands off training, she is also one of the creators of the ICC (Ibiza Canine Collective which specialises in holistic options from grooming right through to training and more!).
It isn't your average salon either. Victoria and her assistant Vittoria also offer TTOUCH therapy during their grooms, a unique practice which involves a type of massage which 'awakens cellular intelligence and activates the function of the cells' which can help with any pains, aches or old injuries and also calm your pooch.
